High Tide Card Series - Card 3

Hello everyone!  I hope you are enjoyed your weekend.  I was taking my daughter to see Beauty and the Beast on Saturday, but she came down with a fever.  We managed to go on Sunday.  I am so glad that we went because it was so good.  I would definitely buy that movie!

Today's card is third and last in my High Tide series. I absolutely love this card.  I got this idea from a tag that was created in the 2017 Occasions Catalog.

I used the Serene Scenery DSP for the background texture.  Instead of creating a tag, I used the stitched framelits to stamp my image on.

This is a great example of CASEing a project and making it your own!

High Tide Card Series - Card 2

Hello friends!  I am back sharing another card using the High Tide Stamp set.  This has to be one of my favorites in the catalog.  I don't know if it will make it into the new annual catalog, but this is one set that I will definitely be keeping.  Actually, I may be keeping all my sets that will retire because they are just so cute!

The Serene Scenery DSP made it easy to complete this card in no time.  I used the pattern paper as my background and stamped my images on top.  This is one card that anyone can make in no time.

High Tide Series - Card 1

Happy Monday! I am so excited to have a week off from school.  I really feel like I have been going through crafting withdrawals.

This week I am showcasing cards using the High Tide stamp set from the 2017 Occasions Catalog. Today's card is inspired by a card featured in the catalog.

I loved the card on right, except I wanted to bring more attention to the focal image.  From the sample featured, the focal image is on the inside of the card.

I kept most of the elements of the card.  You can even step this card up by embossing the Pool Party cardstock.  Using my blender pen,  I blended out some of the pool party ink to fill in the water.  Just like the sample, I added some Linen Thread behind the sentiment.  For the final touch, I added some of the Sprinkle Embellishments.

Stop by on Wednesday to see the next card in the series!
