Layout Using CTMH Studio J (2012-132)

Hello craftistas! How many of you busy moms feel like you don't have time to do any scrapbooking?  What about those pictures just hanging out on your computer and SD cards?

This is why I love Studio J by Close To My Heart.  CTMH has taken the guess work out of designing your layouts.  All you have to do is upload your pictures, choose a paper pack, and layout pattern.  The hard work is done for you, even the embellishments.  All you need to do is pick out the colors for your embellishments, add some stickease, and journaling; and viola, you are finish!

Here is a layout using the Lucy paper pack in Studio J.

Close To My Heart now has made Studio J contents accessible to everyone.  That's right, it's free.  All you pay for is your layout which is $6.95 per 2 page layout.  Also, you can get the JPEG for $2.95.

Great News!

I have gone Hollywood!  That's right, I have made the design team for a new challenge blog: Red Carpet Studios.  I love movies and one time I wanted to be an actress then I graduated high school and realize that I have to enter the real world.  Well, Hollywood came knocking and how could I resist the challenge of trying out.  I am super excited and I can't wait to get started.  The first challenge is in September so be on the look out.  For know, check the blog to see the other leading ladies.

Around the Farm (2012-124)

Digi Haven Challenge - Click Here!

Welcome to the PauseDreamEnjoy Challenge!  This week's theme is "Around the Farm".  I have never been to a farm, but parts of my family is from the country where they had chickens and ducks.

I was really trying to come up with something for this challenge.  Using the Silhouette Studio,  cut out the barn.  I lost the window of the barn when I was putting it together and was too lazy to cut out twice.  I had a card kit from 3 Birds that I got from HSN a couple of months ago.  From that kit, I used the sheep chipboard and pre-made card.

Don't forget to stop by PDE to see what the other DT members created and play along with us in the challenge.

Yummy in My Tummy (2012-123)

Happy Friday! Welcome to this week's Digi Haven Challenge!  The theme this week is Yummy in my Tummy!  The digi stamps I used are from Birdcards.  I used my new Prismacolor markers to color in the images.  The sketch is used is from the Sweet Stop Sketches. The sentiment is from Pink By Design Perk Up Stamp Set.

Digital Card (2012-122)

It seems like it's been a long time since I had posted.  I am thinking about getting my Christmas cards printed this year, but I am going to design them through My Digital Studio.  There may be a couple that I will do by hand, but that's for a few special people.  So, I was surface around blogland yesterday, and I found a sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.  Here is the sketch:

I am not certain if digital creations are allowed, but I figure I will give it a try.

Brown Sugar Challenge (2012-121)

Happy Friday!  Welcome to the Brown Sugar Challenge!  This week the theme is buttons and bows. Our sponsor this week is Floppy Latte Design. For my card, I used the Fanciful Bouquet image.  I recently purchased some Prismacolor markers to see if I would like them.  They color beautifully!  I still like my copics for skin tones, but Prisma and Promarkers are great for general coloring.

I used DCWV Tres Chic paper stack.  I used the Cricut Artiste for the banner and used the Sweet 'n' Sassy To Paris With Love stamp set for the sentiment.  I add two buttons that I got from CTMH.

Head over the Brown Sugar Challenge blog to see that my fellow DT members have created and don't forget to play along with us.

Back To School (2012-120)

Welcome to the Cricut Cardz Challenge!  The theme this week is back to school using any colors or cartridge that you like.

This posting is bitter sweet for me.  My baby girl is starting kindergarten this year.  It  seems like yesterday when I was begging the doctor to take her out of me.

For my card, I used the Sesame Street Seasons cricut cartridge.  Using the prop feature, I cut the book bag (pg. 55 of the handbook) out at 3.5 inches using Creme Brulee and Juniper cardstock from CTMH.  The sentiment is from the Pink By Design School's Cool stamp set.

Don't forget to head over to Cardz TV to see the inspiration that my fellow DT has made for you and play along with us in the challenge.
