My Imagination Monday (2012-59)

Welcome to Imagine-ation Monday over at My Cricut Craft Room!  Today I have a shadow box card I made using the Yummy cartridge.  First, you will need two pieces of 4.25 x 5.5 card stock.  I used some  whisper white for the back of the box and I printed the top my box from the Yummy cartridge.

Then, I scored each piece at 1/2", 1", 4.5", and 5".  I valley folded each piece and adhere the ends with score tape.

I used a die to cut the center the card box.

Using the Yummy cartridge and the Cricut Imagine, I cut the cake image out at 2.5" and used dimensional to adhere to the inside of the box.  I used my Cardz TV stamps "Sweet Talk" set for my sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed todays post and tutorial.  Don't forget to head over to My Cricut Craft Room to check out the other post by the Design Team.

My Cricut Craft Room Imagine-ation Monday (2012-57)

Welcome to My Imagine-ation Monday over at My Cricut Craft Room.  Today, I used the Nursery Tails cricut imagine cartridge  and Songbird for my project.  I made a video for the project and I will post a link to Youtube when I upload the project.

I decided to make a layout of when I first brought my daughter home from the hospital.  I used the I cut the image out at 10.5 inches and separated out all the layers.  The house and the gate are not cut out at 10.5 inches; I had to play around with the sizing to get it they way I wanted.  I popped up my clouds and sun for some dimension.  The photo was printed out in an 3.5 inch square and I rounded the corners.

I love how this layout turned out.  Thanks for stopping by today and check out My Cricut Craft Room to get more inspiration for the DT members!

I have a quick post for you today.  I am currently writing 2 research papers and taking final exams this week that I haven't had much time to devote to crafting.  When times get like this I like to bring out card kits to make some really quick cards that take less than 5 minutes.

Today, I have acard that I made using the 3 Birds Blossom Card Kit that I got from HSN a couple of weeks ago.  All I used on the card is one die-cut piece and chipboard image.  Easy Peezy!

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge (2012-46)

Hello crafters!  I am under the weather.  I think I have a stomach bug.  I manage to get up the strength to make a card for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge.  The challenge this is to make a clean and simple project featuring something that you find in an easter basket.

For my card, I used a 3 Birds Chipboard kit that I got last year.  I punched a 1 3/4 inch circle and a 2 inch scallop circle.  The pattern paper is from a DCWV kit, I got on HSN in 2010.  The sentiment is from Pink by Design Spring has Sprung stamp set.

Stand under my umbrella (2012-45)

Happy Wednesday! Today I have a card that I made for CAS-ual Fridays.

The challenge is to create a clean and simple card based on a song.  I created this card with the song Umbrella in mind.  It was originally sung by Rhianna, but I really like Train's version of the song better.
I used Claudine Hellmuth's scrapbook kit for the umbrella and Pink by Design's Spring has Sprung stamp set.  I used some ribbon from my stash to add some extra color.

PCW Easter Challenge (2012-44)

Happy Tuesday! It's challenge day for Paper Crafting World DT! This week's theme is to make a spring project with a song in mind. So, I selected the late Teena Marie's "A Rose by Any Other Name", which is a duet with the late Gerald Levert.

For my project, I used the Tori digital stamp. I used the Easter Blessing from Cardz TV for the sentiment. I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut and resize the digital stamp.

Please stop by Cooking with Cricut to see the other DT amazing projects.

I used CTMH Card Word Puzzle for my sentiment.
