#72 Thankful Layout

Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope everyone is enjoying themselves.  My Memories is having a challenge called "Why I'm Thankful".  I have lots to be thankful for.  I am most thankful for my daughter.  She is Mommy's miracle, especially since there was a time when I thought I wouldn't be able to carry a child to term.  She is my pride and joy.

#71 Cricut Cardz Challenge

To enter the giveaway click here!

Happy Wednesday!  Today is challenge day over at the CCC on Cardz TV.  This week's challenge is "Christmas: Say it with S!" Make a card for Christmas using an image that starts with the letter S, using any cartridge(s) and any colors you'd like.

For the challenge, I made a 5.5 by 5.5 square card.  I used the Cricut Craftroom and the Cricut Mini to create the image for the card.  I actually did a video and I will post later on today.
I used Jolly Holidays for my Santa/Sleigh combo, which is layered on a 5.25 by 5.25 piece of cardstock.  I used the Fa la la la paper pack from Recollections.  I added some white cardstock to make some snow.  It was embossed using the Snowflake cuttlebug folder.  I decided to add some bling to the sleigh because Santa has the right to be blinged out, right!  For my sentiment, I used Cardz Tv Stamps "Home for the Holidays" set, which can be purchased here!

Hope you join us for this week's challenge and don't forget to stop by the other DT's blogs to see their creations!

#70 Let's Do a Giveaway!

Over the past few months, I have not had time to do any real scrapbooking.  Between other crafting obligations, home, work, and school, it's hard to think about scrapbook project I would like to do.  In addition to the fact that I do not own a lot of 12x12 cardstock.  A few weeks ago, I was contacted by My Memories to do a review of their software.

Well, I got My Memories Suite to review a couple weeks back!  This is a great software that is rated #1 by Amazon and TopTen Reviews.  You can use this software to scrapbook, create photobooks, cards, calendars, and gifts as well! I have been excited to use it but between computer issues and some family health issues just barely got to use it this week!  Let me tell you - it is AWESOME!  This program makes it so easy to scrapbook (and other things but I am most excited about scrapbooking) - it makes it so even someone like ME can do it!!

You can create your own albums from the designer templates that come with the software (which is what I did for my "I'm a Diva" album - here is a sample of 3 of the pages - how cute!)  I still need to add the journaling to my samples.

With everything going digital now a days this is the "hip and easy way to scrapbook!"  No more spending so much money or time!  You can do it all on your computer (where your pictures probably are anyways) and if you want a hard copy you can always print it out!

I am going to enjoy My Memories Suite software and be able to save a lot of our memories this way!

I am giving away one free copy of the My Memories Suite V.2.  Please read below to see ways to win.

TO BUY:  You can buy this awesome program at MyMemories.com for $39.97 but if you use the Coupon Code STMMMS59859 you get an additional $10 off!  Making this program only $29.97!

#69 Just My Style Cardz TV DT Challenge

For the Paper Cutz Challenge, click here!

Today is an exciting day! It's the very first challenge for the Cardz TV Stamps.  This week's challenge is "Just My Style".  I love everything about crafting and trying different techniques and card folds, but I love clean and simple cards.  I love it because it's quick and easy to mass produce.

I used the "Make a Wish" Cardz TV Stamp Set for my project.  I used the top note die from Stampin' Up to create my purse.  I used the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge for the paper flower.  After adding some ribbion, our top note purse was born!

Don't forget to stop by all the DTs blogs to see their creation.  You can participate in the challenge, which will run from Friday until Sunday! Hope to see your projects!

#68 "Let's Talk Turkey" PCC Challenge

Happy Friday! Today is challenge day over at the Paper Cutz!  This week's challenge is,

"Let's Talk Turkey!"  Make a card, LO or craft project for Thanksgiving, using a stamped, digital stamp or Cricut cut image of a Turkey . Use any colors you'd like.

For my project, I made a layout for this year's Thanksgiving.  I have never documented too many holiday gatherings because things usually get a little crazy or I forget to take my camera.  I used the Let's Talk Turkey digital kit from My Memories.  I wanted to print out the layout to add some stamping, but I am currently at my mother's house and her computer was acting funny.

I am loving digital stamping, scrapbooking, and even making hybrid cards.  For my layout, I added the 2011, in order to remember which Thanksgiving I am documenting.  The background paper is Turkey feet.  I  added a scalloped edge and some brads.  I added some stitching for an added touch.  I used the boycott turkey image in the layout.  I thought it was so stinkin' cute of the turkey holding the Eat Ham picket sign.

I hope you enjoyed this week's PCC Challenge inspiration and play along with us over at Paper Cutz!

Some Chit Chat

Hey guys!  I will be posting some projects tonight and tomorrow.  I have been working extremely hard on 18 cards for a friend of mine.  Between that, school, work, and home life, I haven't had much time for posting this week.  Also, I am working on some projects using the Cardz TV Stamps that I think you will like.

I have been working with the Cricut Craftroom lately and I love it.  It allows me to design my cards and scrapbook pages and getting an idea of how it would like in color.  My Cricut Mini is arriving today and I am very excited about that.  I own a lot of Cricut Machines, but this one, I think, is going to be more portable for me to carry to my mom's house.  I will be coming out with some videos using the cricut craftroom.  I am excited for what's ahead for me, not only in life, but in my crafting life too!

#65 Friendship Card

Hello Everyone! Here is a hybrid card that I made with MDS.  I am entering this card the the Crafty Creations Challenges.  The challenge this week is to make a card using the colors Kraft, White, and one other color, which is Riding Hood Red.

#64 Make a Wish

Hello everyone!  Candice here with a card that I made for the Birthday Sundaes Challenge Blog.  I am so happy that today is Thursday because tomorrow is a holiday for the Federal Government.  I know exactly what I will be doing: making cards for a friend of mine.

The challenge this week is to make a Birthday Card aka Anything Goes as long as there is a birthday sentiment on the front of the card.  I used SU! My Digital Studio to make this card.  I have started slowly getting into digital crafting because as a single mom, full time student and worker, I just don't have the time to spend in my craftroom the way I will like.  However, going digital allows me to create when I am at work (during lunch of course) and whenever I am traveling.  It gives me my happy balance.  I am still learning to use My Digital Studio and My Memories, but I am enjoying it as I go.

For this card, I used Certainly Celery for my card base.  The "Make a Wish" tag is from the Happy Birthday Designer Kit.  The cupcake image is from the Big Bold Birthday stamp set.

#63 Harvest Blessings

Happy Wednesday! Today is Cricut Cardz Challenge day over at CardzTV.  This week's challenge is to make a Thanksgiving card using the card feature of any cricut cartridge and any colors you want.  For the challenge, I used the Birthday Bash cartridge to get my card base.  My pumpkins were cut from the Imagine using the Enjoy the Seasons cartridge.  Lastly, my sentiment is from Thankful for You stamp set over at Cardz TV stamps.

Cardz TV Stamps DT

Happy Monday Everyone!  I have some excited news! I have made the design team for Mary's CardzTv Stamps.  This is my first time on a design team for a stamp line and I can not tell you how excited I am.  I woke up this morning and something told me to check my emails, which is sent to my cell phone automatically.  I saw an email from Mary and when I read it and saw my name, my heart just sunk in.  I am usually very sluggish in the morning (especially if I only had 5 hours of sleep); but today, there was a pep in my step.  I am truly thankful to Mary for selecting me for this term.

If you have not checked it out already, here are the other members of the DT --click here.

Here is a past project I made using Cardz TV Stamps,

#61 Favorite Thanksgiving Dish (PCC Challenge)

Happy Friday! This has been such an exhausting week for me.  I am so happy for the weekend.  I am going to have a long day today since I have a workshop to conduct tonight.  This week's challenge over at Paper Cutz Challenge is "Gobble, Gobble!" Make a card, LO or craft project for Thanksgiving incorporating a recipe for your favorite Thanksgiving dish.  Use any colors you'd like.

I made a layout using the My Memories Digital Scrapbook software. They have some very cute products at a very reasonable rate.

Who can have Thanksgiving dinner without Pumpkin Pie or Pumpkin Puff (my mom's weight watcher's recipe)?  I used a digital kit called Fall Frolic.  Hope you enjoy!
