#20 Birthday Sundaes Blog Hop

Welcome Crafty Friends to the Birthday Sundaes First Ever Blog Hop! I am glad to participate in a hop with a great design team!  This blog hop is to introduce the new design team members and to bid farewell to previous DT members. I would like to say that I had a great first term with Birthday Sundaes and I will miss working with everyone.  Even though, I will no longer be on the design team doesn't mean that I will not be participating in some of the challenges.

If you came over from Tara's blog, then you are in the right place.  Click here if you will like to start at the beginning.

For my project, I used my Cricut Imagine to print and cut out the Cupcake.  The image is from Love You A Latte cricut lite cartridge. I also cut out a heart shape tag from TBBM cartridge.  I used some very  yummy pattern from The Paper Studio Sugar and Spice collection.  The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Simply Sweet stamp set.

The next stop is one of the newest members of the Birthday Sundaes DT Maribel .  There is a Grand Prize that will be given away over at Birthday Sundaes.  In order to qualify, you must play along in the blog hop by posting your project up at Birthday Sundaes and you must leave a comment on everyone's blog.  I can't wait to see what everyone creates.

#19 Team Jacob or Team Edward

Good Morning Crafters!  A month ago, I discovered a stamp company called Skipping Stones Design.  While on their site, I noticed a stamp set called Fangs or Fur and I had to have it.  I am a huge Twilight fan.  I have even turned my 4-year-old into to TwiHard fan, but she is Team Jacob, while I am Team Edward.  So, we are a house divided.  I received my stamp set last weekend and I couldn't wait to make a project.  Here is the card I created.

The layout may look familiar since I used it in yesterday's project.  I used the Mojo Monday sketch.

Recipe:
Cardstock - DCWV Brights, Immortal Love Collection
Early Expresso Ribbon
Stamps - Skipping Stones Design Fangs or Fur
Stampin' Up! Buttons and Tag Die

The sentiment says: Team Edward until Jacob takes off his shirt.

#18 MAG Challenge #37 Hello Kitty

Click to view full size imageTGIF! Today is challenge day for DT #1 over at M.A.G.  This week's challenge is using the image from pg. 65 of the Hello Kitty Cricut Cartridge. Please remember, for MAG Challenge you cannot use any other Cricut cartridge or page from another cartridge, only the one specified.  However, you are free to use all the embellishments and other treasure from your stash!!

For my project, I used the Mojo Monday Sketch to create my card.  I had the hardest time cutting out the silhouette feature.  The tag was cut using the Stampin' Up! Tags Die, which I used the Big Shot to cut.  The tag was alittle long, so I trimmed off a couple of inches and rounded the edges with my 3/8 corner rounder.

I really had fun creating this card! Stop by M.A.G and participate in this week's challenge.  Don't forget to stop my fellow DT member's blog to see the great projects they created.

Cartridge - Hello Kitty
Cardstock - Recollections
Pattern Paper - Colorbok Princess Collection
Stamps - Pink By Design Summer Vacation
Embellishments - Ribbon, Divine Twine

Hello Crafty Friends! I hope everyone's Wednesday is off to a wonderful start.  Today is challenge day over at Cricut Cardz Challenge.  Here is the challenge:

Challenge #85 Holiday - Anything Goes! Make a card for the holiday of your choice, using any cartridge and colors you'd like.

Since it's still July, I decided to go with the Christmas in July theme.  I can't believe that there is only 5 months left until Christmas.  For my card, I used the Enjoy the Seasons Imagine Cartridge.  The snowman was cut out at 4".  I also cut some pattern paper from the Imagine.  I added divine twine, bling and buttons for my embellishments.

Don't forget to stop by the Cricut Cardz Challenge to see the other Design Team member's projects and to participate in this week's challenge.

#16 Life's Moments

Here is a card that I did using the Skipping Stone Sketch this week.  Skipping Stones Designs is a new stamp company that I discovered about a month ago and recently purchased two of their stamp sets.  I can't wait to use them; they have some cute stamps.  I used Stampin' Up! Nature Walk and Element of Style stamp sets.  I love how this card came out.

#15 Birthday Sundaes Challenge - Inspirational Photo

Happy Sunday! It's that day of the week again. This week over at Birthday Sundaes, the challenge is to make a card using an inspirational photo.  Isn't this week's photo so yummy?

For my project, I decided to make cupcakes using the same colors in the photo.  I followed a card sketch from the Online Summer Card Class that I received.  I used the Pink By Design Cupcake stamp set.  I am still learning how to color in stamped images, but I think I did okay. I used the Pink By Design Take the Cake stamp set for the sentiment.

Don't forget to stop by Birthday Sundaes to participate in this week's challenge.

Recipe:
Cardstock - Stampin' Up! (Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Whisper White)
Pattern Paper - Stampin' Up! (Elegant Soiree)
Stamp Sets - Pink By Design (Cupcake, Take the Cake)
Buttons - Stampin' Up!

#14 Chit chat

How is everybody's week end coming along?  Fine, I hope.  We are trying to stay cool in this heat.  I don't know if it's heat induced or not, but I feel really blah.  I just received a new stamp set from a new company I am trying out.  I am really excited to test out the stamp and the DCWV paper line that goes perfect, but I just don't feel well.  I hope I am not catching any bugs that may be going around.   I am off to do some homework! Stay cool!

Brewing Up a Birthday Wish

Happy Sunday! I have to say that this card for the Birthday Sundaes challenge has to be on of my favorites.  This week's theme is anything goes, which is sponsored by Circle B Enterprises Scrapbooking & More Store.
For this week's card, I finally got to use my  "Love You A Latte" cricut lite cartridge.  I used the espresso machine image, which was cut out at 3.5".  I used Stampin' Up! cardstock (Basic Grey, Whisper White, Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red) and pattern paper from S.E.I.  I add some rhinestones and decided to do come accent dots with a gray gel pen.  I used the Pink By Design Perk Up stamp set for the sentiment.  Lastly, I added some Divine Twine I got from the Pink By Design Store.

Don't forget to stop by the Birthday Sundaes blog and check out the rest of the design team's projects and participate in this week's challenge!
