Here Thar Be Pirates

Wow! I actually made it to complete 3 projects for Cricut Exploration.  Here is another card using the Buccaneer Cricut Imagine Cartridge. For this project, I used the pirate ship image on this card.  I used the Pink By Design Cloud background stamp for the sky. I used a blue and green cardstock, which I tore the top to create the sea.  The stamp is from Pink By Design Pirates Life.

Quick Post

This is just a quick post. I am super excited that my Cricut Expression 2 is arriving tomorrow.  I wish tomorrow would get here already.  I am planning to do a couple of videos on opening the package, taking a look at the new cartridge handbooks and maybe even a project.  All of this won't be tomorrow of course, but you never know.

Pirate Princess

Today I  am continuing with the Buccaneer Cricut Exploration. For this project, I used the new Pink By Design Pirate's Life Image Stamps.  I used Prism color pencils and colorless blender to color in the stamp.  Also, I used the Pink By Design Pirate Stamp Set.

It's Yarrrrgh Birthday!!

How is everyone doing after the great Cricut Expression 2 launch? Are you as tired as I am? I had to get up at 5 am for work. I did manage to purchase the Expression 2 and I cannot wait to get it.

This week's Cricut Exploration is the Buccaneer Cricut Imagine Cartridge.  I was going to do another cartridge, but I really wanted to play with this cartridge.  I love the imaginery of this cartridge! You get pirate ships, men and women pirates, swords and etc.  I decided to make 5x5 card and I cut the background layer at 4.5 inches.  I cut the banner icon and used the Pirate's Life stamp set from Pink By Design. I popped out my pirates with some Stampin' Dimensionals.

I have cut a couple of other images and I am hoping to get them on some cards if I am not too exhausted.

All Wrapped Up Box

It's time for another challenge over at Birthday Sundaes.  For this week's challenge, we had to create birthday gift packaging, party favor, invitation, cupcake wrappers, banners, etc.

I decided to make a party favor box using the All Wrapped Up Cricut Imagine cartridge.  This was challenging because there are no instructions on how to put the box together.  It is basically trial and error.  I think that it came out fairly good.

World Best Mommy

It's challenge day over at Cricut Cardz Challenge.  For this week's challenge, we had to make a Mother's Day card using any colors and cartridges.  For my card, I used the Give A Hoot cartridge.  If you follow my blog, you know that I started doing Cricut Cartridge Explorations.  Since this week is Earth week, I decided to use the Give A Hoot cartridge.

I love how this card turned out.  I usually don't use pattern paper on my cards, but I decided to stretch my imagination.

Please join us over at the CCC to play along and get inspired.

Cricut Cartridge Exploration - April Showers #2

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.  It's storming here in Virginia, so I hope that the power do not go out.  I am continuing with the April Showers Cricut Cartridge Exploration.  For today's project,I made a card with the flower pot image.  I am not completely with the card, but my dimensionals had already glued itself to the paper before I could to re-frame the image.  I used the Green Apple divine twine and the Life's a Garden stamp set from Pink by Design.

Cricut Cartridge Exploration - April Showers

Hello Crafty Friends! This week I am showing a couple of projects using the April Showers cartridge.  I love the spring theme.  I went back and forth on this cartridge before buying it.  Here is layout that I did.  This is a 12 x 12 layout and the tree is cut at 6" and the squirrel is cut at 2".  I think that the phrase is also cut at 2".

Cricut Cartridge Exploration - Quarter Note #2

Hello Crafty Friends,

I have another project to showcase using the Quarter Note cricut cartridge.  I decided to make a 8x8 scrapbook layout.  Along with Quarter Note, I used the Imagine More cartridge to cut the base, music note layer and the images.  It's a simple page, but I love how it turned out.

Stamping Couture Post

Hello Crafty Friends, I have another blog for Stampin' Up! projects.  I just posted my latest project.  Come by and visit Stamping Couture.

Cricut Cartridge Exploration - Quarter Note

Hello Crafty Friends! I decided to implement something new called the Cricut Cartridge Exploration.  The Cricut Cartridge Exploration will take one cartridge and make different projects using that cartridge.  I wanted to start this because I realized that I have so many cartridges that I have not used yet.  I want to push my creativity as far as it can possibly go.  I do have commitments to my design teams and there will be times where I may be using other cartridges for those projects.  I am excited about starting this new adventure.

Quarter Note is the first cartridge we will be exploring.  I love this cartridge because I am a music lover, even though I don't play an instrument.  While I used Pink by Design "All Girl" on this project, the Pink Stamper has a Music Speaks stamp set that will go perfectly with this cartridge.  I just received that stamp set and will be incorporating it in some project.  Here is the first Quarter Note project.
