#28 It's a Jungle Out There

Happy Wednesday!  It has been a bag of nerves here in Northern Virginia.  Some of us experienced our first earthquake.  I was in the middle of a meeting when we felt the building shake.  We had to leave the building.  It took me 4.5 hours to get home.  No cabs would take me into Northern Virginia from DC.  I had to take 3 buses to get to my car and then I was late picking up my daughter.  My legs are hurting from all the walking I had to do too!

So, on to this week's Cricut Cardz Challenge.  The theme this week is "It's a Jungle Out There!"  Make a child’s birthday card using something you’d see in a jungle…monkey, lion, tiger, giraffe, zebra, hippo, etc, and any cartridges or colors you’d like.

For my card, I wanted to make something different.  So I googled animals of the jungle and noticed that crocodiles were in the jungle.  This made me bring out the cartridge Crocs Rule.  I cut everything out at 4" using my cricut imagine.  I used some pattern paper that I had in my stash.  The sentiment came from Pink By Design Crikey stamp set.  Also, this is my first time making a Z fold card.

  5. Kudos to you on trying something different. You did a great job. I live on the Eastern Shore of Virginia (about 1 1/2 hours north of Virginia Beach) and felt my first earthquake too. It was a really weird. I did not know what was going on at first! And then we heard there was an earthquake! :0
