#2 It's a BBQ

Happy Wednesday! Today is challenge day for design team #2 over at Cricut Cardz Challenge Blog.  For this week's challenge, we have to make a card with a cook-out or picnic theme using any cartridges or colors you'd like.

For my project, I decided to use the Enjoy the Season Imagine Cartridge.  I used the grill image which is cut out at 4".  Also, I printed some pattern paper from the cartridge.  I decided to make an easel invitation card.

Go over and visit the CCC and see what my other talented design team members created and join us in this week's challenge.

Yes, I actually have a video.

#1 Inspire Layout

Happy Monday! As you may notice, I have titled this project as #1.  There is a reson behind it.  I have decided to number my projects/posting for my preferences and to see how much I am creating and posting for guys.  I was going through my previous projects and noticed that there were a couple that I never shared.

For my project, I created this layout using Wall Decor and More and the Cricut Alphabet cartridges.  I followed a sketch that I received for this layout.  I think that it came out nice.  Hope you enjoy and become inspired.

Eat Chocolate

Hello Crafters! I am posting all the way from New York.  Here is a card that I did that I never posted.  I used my 3 favorite Stampin' Up! colors: Early Espresso, Rich Razzleberry, and Old Olive.  I used the Eat Chocolate stamp set, which was in the Occasions Mini.  The new catalog starts in July, so it may be available then.  The stamp says "I would give up chocolate, but I'm no quitter."

Cupcake Card - Birthday Sundaes

Happy Sunday Everyone! Today is challenge day over at Birthday Sundaes.  For this week's challenge, we have to make a shape card that is not a circle or square.  For this week's challenge, I made a simple cupcake card from the All Wrapped Up Imagine cartridge.  I added some what my daughter calls "sparklelies" (glitter) onto the top layer of the cupcake.  I made a small slit in the card to add some ribbon.  I used the Pink by Design "Birthday, Birthday" stamp set.

Father's Day Card

Goodmorning,  today is challenge day for design team #2 over at Cricut Cardz Challenge.  This weeks challenge is to make a Father's Day card using any cartridge or colors.  For my project, I used the fish icon from Wild Cards cricut cartridge and pattern paper from the Ancestry Imagine Cartridge.  For this card, I decided to follow a sketch.  I don't remember where I got the sketch from, but I have decided to incorporate more sketches for my cards and scrapbook layouts.  In addition, I used the cricut craft room to figure out where I wanted to place all my card elements.

Come over and join us over at the Cricut Cardz Challenge Blog and share your creations with us.

Let's do Coffee!

Have you heard about the Pink By Design Community?  Sarah aka Pink Cricut, has a new site dedicated to her design team and where crafters can communicate with each other.  There are weekly challenges within the community.  This week's challenge was to make a cricut-less project.  Here is the project I submitted.

Why So Blue?

Happy Tuesday! Today's project is a twisted easel card that I made.  I learned the twisted easel card from Jill Stamps.  When I first saw this, I had to try this card fold.  It is super easy to make.

Wild about you

Good Morning,

I know I am a little late posting this but I have been so busy that I forgot to schedule the post.  Well, this week at Cricut Cardz Challenge, we have to make a card using the card feature from any cartridge.  I decide to use Birthday Bash and Pagoda for my card.    This last weekend, I took my daughter to see Kung Fu Panda and was inspired to make this card.  For my background layer, I used the Ancestry imagine cricut.  If you had seen Kung Fu Panda, the villain was a peacock and so I thought the bird pattern paper went perfectly for the card.  Also, I used Pink By Design Jungle Fever stamp set for my sentiment.  I love how it turned out.  Come play along with the challenge.  I am looking forward to seeing your creations.
