Scrapbook Page with Minnie

Hello crafters!  I made this scrapbook page using the Mickey and Friends Cricut cartridge.  This is such a fun cartridge.  I was intimated at first because of all the layering but I think that it turned out great.  I wanted to jazz up Minnie Mouse a bit by changing the color of her outfit.  I added some sparkle with the crystal fine glitter.  I tried to focus in on the color of of the designer paper as I choose the background cardstock and the mat for the photo and sentiment.  I absolutely love the sentiment as it speaks volumes of how a father feels about their daughters.  I hope you enjoy!

Cricut cardz challenge #32

Here is my entry for the Cricut Cardz Challenge.  We had to make a Christmas card using any cartridge and colors.  I decided to keep the card simple.  Using some cardstock and designer paper from my collection, I created a gatefold card.  I used the Joy of the Season cartridge to cut the polar bear.  Isn't he cute. To keep the card closed on one side I glued the green cardstock and on the other side, I used removable glue dots, so the card can open.

On the inside, I placed designer paper to create a coordinating background.  I layered the paper with white cardstock and cut the phrase Merry Christmas from the Wild Card cartridge.  I hope you enjoy.

Tea Bag Holders

Hello my fellow crafters,

The project that I am showing today are tea bag holders.  This is the perfect gift for someone who might be a little under the weather.  These tea bag holders can be used for samples too.  I placed to perfume samples into the pockets for my Avon customers.  Isn't it a great idea!!!  I cannot wait to hear what they have to say about the holder.

Recipe:

Stampin' Up! cardstock cut at 3 1/2 x 7 3/4 - various colors
Designer paper cut at 6 1/2 x 7
ribbon (optional)
circle punch
Stamps from Stampin' Up!

My Angel Scrapbook Layout

This is a simple scrapbook page I did using DCWV Le Creme collection. I used the A Child's First Year cartridge to cut the My Angel  and the fairy.  This page will go in the Daddy and me collection I am making.  Hope you enjoy.

P.S. I have two more weeks of graduate school left, so I am hoping to post more often.
