MPS Design Team Tryout Project - Sweet Treats

I know that it has been forever since the last time I posted any projects, but I have been extremely busy and excessively tired.  So, I put together a sweet treats card box for my project.  I am alittle scared, but I am to take the chance.

Recipe:
Red Cardstock for lid to the box cut at 7 3/4" x 9"
Brown Cardstock for box base cut at 6 7/8" x 8 1/8"
MPS Simply Sweet Occasions Stamps
Ribbon
Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge
Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad
Pink, brown, and manila cardstock for the cards

The base of the box was scored at 1 1/2" on all sides of the cardstock and adhered together using the red sticky tape.  The box lid was scored at 1" on all sides. I placed ribbon on the box and made a bow using the crafter companion's bow maker.

All of the cards were cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".  From the sweet treats cricut cartridge, I cut the ice cream image at 3 1/2".  I love this project.  I think that this is one of my best projects I have ever done.

New Post Coming

Hello fellow crafters! I know that I have not posted anything in awhile, but I have been extremely busy.  I recently brought three of the new cricut lite cartridges that are exclusively at Wal-Mart.  I am working on some projects and hope to have something posted soon.

Stampin' Up! Card

I stated a couple of weeks ago that I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  This is the first card that I did when I received my starter's kit.  I used the pink passion cardstock for the base of the card.  Using the fast flowers (I think) stamp, I wheeled the flowers with pixie pink ink.  I layered the card with galore green cardstock and whisper white cardstock.  I stamped the flower image using the embrace life stamp set and used the stampin' pastels to apply the colors in the flower petals.  I used pixie pink ink to stamp the phrase embrace life.  I hope you enjoy!

Cricut cardz challenge

This is challenge #27 where we had to make something for father's day.  I used the create-a-critter cartridge and I cut the chick and nest at 3 inches.  The word DAD was created on the gypsy using the Don Juan cartridge and welded together.  I used a paper flower from the DCWV kit I received from HSN and I placed a pearl brad in the middle of the flower.

Just Want to be Happy

This is a scrapbook page I did for the Father's Day book.  I love this picture of the my daughter and her father.  They look so much alike.  I titled the page Happy because when my daughter saw the picture, she said that Daddy looks happy and it inspired me to create the page.  I hope that you enjoy.
