Some of new scrapbooking tools

Hello everyone, hope you are having a beautiful pink and green day.  Today I am going to show you some of my favorite tools and kits I received recently.  My most recent tool is the glue glider pro.  So far, I really like it and provides heavier cardstock with a good adhesive.  It's similar to the ATG gun, but it's about $30 cheaper on AC Moore website.  I tried to go to the store to get the glue glider because I had a 40% off coupon, but it was not sold in the store I went to.  I have tried out several of times and it is becoming very useful.  One feature that I love is that the handle is removable and I can use the top handle instead.

Next, I brought for the first time some prima flowers. Both sets are from the Twilight series.  As previously posted, I purchased them because of the word Twilight.  I am a big fan of the Twilight series, both the movies and the books.  Aren't the colors soooo pretty.  These are felt flowers and I think I will definitely buy more in the future.

Now, you are probably wondering what is the box that the flowers are on top of.  Well, HSN has become my new best friend.  I purchased the Ultimate Scrapbook Kit with Storage by Die Cuts with a View.  I love this kit! It has cardstock and coordinating papers, cards and envelopes, brads, adhesive ribbon, stickers, and chipboard embellishments.  It is a must have kit.  I liked it so much that I had ordered another kit before it sold out from HSN.

Birthday Card

Hey scrappers!! Sorry it has taken me so long to post something new, but I have been very busy with work and school.  I created this birthday card for my little cousin who turned 1 this past weekend.

I cut the bear using the create critter cricut cartridge.  It is the cutest cartridge I have ever seen. The card base is from a die cuts with a view kit I received from HSN.  I love HSN  because you can get really good deals on some crafting bundles.  I will post pictures of the kit I received.  I added milled lavender distressed stickles to the bear's shirt (or dressdepending how you are looking at it).  I cut a green card layer (sorry I forgot the measurements).  I added a polka dot ribbon from the American Crafts Valentine's 2010 Dollar Ribbon Spool.  The rub-on is from the 3 Birds card making kits, which you can only get from HSN.  Got to love 3 Birds.  On the inside of the card, I used another rub-on from 3 Birds. Hope you enjoy and happy crafting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Lovebug

Hello, I wanted to share a scrapbook layout that I did using the Create a Critter cricut cartridge.  I love this cartridge because of the all the cool projects that can be used.  I did this layout about a week ago, so I am going to try to remember the measurements.  I used blue cardstock from DCWV.  This cardstock came with a kit that I received from HSN, which I love.  When I get the name of the kit, I'll let you know.  The grass is plain construction paper that I took from my daughter's art supplies.  The lovebug was cut out at 5 inches (I think) and I used Recollections cardstock from Michaels.  I decided not to mat my photo this time but I placed a border around it when I printed it out.  I used two prima flowers from the Twilight Caliope Felt Flowers collections.  I ordered this flowers from, which is a good website to get some scrapbooking supplies at a cheaper cost.  What made me order this collection is the fact that it said Twilight.  For anyone who knows me, I am a big Twilight fan.  So, I will probably be using them again on a future layout of my favorite movies.  I place a brad from Making Memories pastel flowers collections.  I cut out the phrase lovebug at 2.5 inches.  Lastly, I decided to draw in  the sun and I used a citrus yellow marker and a yellow embossing pen to make the sun rays.  Hope you enjoy!

Thanks a Melon card

Hello, this is my very first blog posting, so please bare with me.  Robyn, from, created a challenge for us using pink, green, and black paper (my favorite colors). I created a "Thanks a Melon" card from the Just Because cricut cartridge. The papers are from Recollections  cardstock pack.  I cut the card at 4", the "thanks a melon" and the black design at 3", and the watermelon at 2.5".  Hope you enjoy.
